My second ProBlogger reinforcement

I’ve been reinforced by ProBlogger Darren Rowse once before… I had written about how new readers may need repeated exposures to you before they become loyal enough to subscribe or purchase, and of course I was pleased when Darren posted a testimonial from a new subscriber to his site who had seen and heard of Darren multiple times. You can read about that experience here.
About a week ago, I wrote about my first Stumble experience… someone had submitted my contest and a blurb about John Chow to the Stumble community. Since it was the first time I had been Stumbled, I really dissected the experience to learn what had happened, and it made me realize a couple of things that were important.
Now, I’m a new blogger. I learn as I go, and I think I’m sharp enough to pick things up, but I definitely didn’t come to this party with a complete set of ProBlogger skills and wisdom. It sure is reassuring, though, to see a post at Darren’s site yesterday confirming my suspicions about Stumble users and detailing the things I should have done to keep those new visitors at my page a bit longer. Nice to know I was pretty much spot on.
Strange, though, how it’s happened twice this month… we’re all bound to write about similar topics from time to time, so I know that’s how it goes, but it’s kind of fun to think that if there’s anything you might have wanted to read about at ProBlogger, you could maybe catch the scoop here at Chris Bloczynski dot Com a couple days early!
Seriously, though… Darren’s next in line for a Mentorship profile, so you’ll be able to read about him this week. I’m curious, though, to see if he’ll try to beat me to it!
Just kidding.
